A blustery end to the month!
Good evening, Write Edge readers! Today has been a blustery day with all the excitement of tornados touching down in our area (although, as far as I know, no damage was done and no one was hurt.) The wind and thunderstorm knocked out our wifi, and I’m currently running my computer off the hotspot on my phone. But, again, I’m extremely grateful that that is the only little thing I had to deal with today. We’re safe and sound with the power and water still up and running. Things could be a lot worse.
Still, we march onward! Today is the last Monday of the month, which means our writers’ showcase. There were some poems that caught my eye this month (I know! Me! Poetry!), so I’m sharing those with you along with a piece of micro fiction that made me nod because of how good it was. Check out all of those now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop!
This past Friday I previewed the book I’m reviewing for Wednesday. Find out what I thought of the middle grade novel, Momo Arashima Steals the Sword of the Wind by Misa Sugiura. You can read that review in the middle of the week on The Write Edge Bookshelf!
And, of course, on Friday it’s back to Instagram and all of my writing/non-writing posts. Check out previous Insta pics with my handle, @EktaRGarg, or on my Facebook author page.
Finally, I have signed copies of my own book ready and waiting to come to your home — all you have to do is order one for yourself! Read more about In the Heart of the Linden Wood and order your copy here.
Have a fantastic week, readers!
