Book review now up!

Posted on Updated on

Good morning, readers! I’ve posted my newest book review for you. Today I share my thoughts on Before I Let Go by Marieke Nijkamp. Here’s the opening to my review:

When a teen in a small town dies under mysterious circumstances, her best friend tries to find out what happened. The residents of the town resist all inquiries, leaving the friend to wonder whether something more sinister is afoot. Author Marieke Nijkamp’s second novel contains a weak storyline that tries to skate on its intensity in Before I Let Go.

Happy 2018, Write Edge readers! First and foremost, I wish all of you a healthy and joyous new year. As always, thank you so much for your support. I write, in part, because this community encourages me to do so, and I also learn valuable lessons from all of you. Thank you for keeping me humble and keeping me honest.

I’m currently away from my desk on an unplannes trip but will certainly return before the end of the week. In the meantime, stay warm and safe. Happy new year!

Merry Christmas, readers!

Good morning, Write Edge readers, and a very merry Christmas to you! I wish you a joyous holiday filled with much laughter and lots of family and friends.

It’s the last Monday of the month, so it’s a perfect opportunity for me to give you a gift: our monthly writers showcase. Thank you, readers, for your love and support. I can’t do what I do here without it.

I’m going to take this week off from posting after today, but I will certainly be back in the new year to wish you again. In the meantime, enjoy this last writers showcase of the year in The Write Edge Writing Workshop.

Have a wonderful day and week, readers!
