Hi, Write Edge readers! It’s a late posting today, but as they say, “Better late than never.” Sometimes that applies to our dreams too. If we keep plugging away at them, if we continue to make efforts, maybe — just maybe — eventually they’ll come true. There’s more to that, but to read about it go now to “A Writer’s Heartbeats.”
I’ve posted this week’s short fiction for you. Here’s an excerpt of my latest story:
Her breathing became shallow. The old familiar panic began creeping across her chest, like a rodent in the house that refused to leave. Her legs began to shake, and Natalee almost stumbled as she went to the bed and sat on it.
In the middle of the week, I’ll post a brand new book review. On Wednesday I’ll share with you what I thought about Gone Without A Trace by Mary Torjussen. Read the review on The Write Edge Bookshelf!
This Thursday I’ll share new writing prompts for next week’s short story, and at the end of this week I’ll post those Spurts I promised last week on Growth Chart.
Have a great week, readers!
