The official theatrical trailer for the comedy Bol Bachchan have made their world premiere. Releasing in theaters on Friday, July 6, the summer comedy reunites the team of Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty who have gained much success with the Golmaal series and broke Indian box office records last year with Singham.
Now, Abhishek Bachchan joins in on the fun along with his co-star… Abhishek Bachchan. The dual role marks the new dad’s long-awaited return to comedy with his own father joining in for what promises to be one of the most-talked-about songs of the year.

Former Miss World and new mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has received much criticism for the weight she has gained after the delivery of her first daughter in November. Actress Lara Dutta, a new mother herself, and former actress Sonali Bendre (who stopped taking on most acting projects to pursue motherhood and family life fulltime) both spoke publicly in support of Bachchan. Bachchan, a regular fixture since 2002 at the international Cannes Film Festival in France, made an appearance again this year, despite the negative comments made about her by media members and others.

Aamir Khan’s latest episode of his television reality show, “Satyamev Jayate” about the medical profession in India has angered many doctors there. Physicians across the country say Khan should apologize publicly to the members of their profession for highlighting only the negatives of healthcare in India. The controversial episode aired Memorial Day weekend.

Preliminary talks about a sequel to the 1981 blockbuster hit Umrao Jaan starring then-hit actress, Rekha, have begun between the director of the original and one of the film’s writers. Muzaffar Ali catapulted Rekha to a previously-unreached height of fame when he directed her in the film that has become one of her signature movies for both its acting as well as its music. Writer Javed Siddiqui says he and Ali are considering one of two possible story ideas for a new film, but no dates or casts have been announced.
